22Andrea McLean studied fine art at Falmouth School of Art, the Slade School of Art and the British School at Rome on an Abbey Scholarship in Painting.

She was an Artist-in-Residence at Gloucester Cathedral  

Andrea’s circular Mappa Mundi painting is on display at the British Library as part of their permanent collection. Donated by Catherine Delano Smith, it is found at the entrance to the map room.

Andrea is a featured artist in Tess Jaray’s book ‘Paintings: Mysteries and Confessions’.

Her panel paintings and painted books were recently in the Mappa Mundi museum at Hereford Cathedral as part of the exhibition ‘Mapping Inspirations’.

She is a member of the Blake Society and the Traherne Association.

 Her studio is in Hereford & in Ledbury, Herefordshire.
