Oil Pastel Drawings

The first half of July 2023 was an intensive drawing time. I had begun pastel drawing in Ledbury church. The experience felt extraordinary, seeing the ancient spaces in the stone carved architecture, and the luminous colourful glass. These oil pastels took an imaginary turn bringing out themes from my painting background, while being informed by drawing from epic science fiction films
